Commitment

God's View:
Eccl. 12:13-14 ; lPet. 1:17 ; 1 Cor. 11:31-32 -Whole duty of man is to fear God and keep His commandments. If you do not obey God's word, He will judge and discipline you. This means a daily and everyday commitment whether you feel like it or not to live and do what GOd wants you to do in thought, speech and action.

Hope:
Ps. 19:7-11 ; Prov. 30:5-6 ; 2 Tim. 3:16-17 -God's word provides hope and gives direction in deeds(thoughts, speech and actions) and is adequate to equip you for every good work.

Eph. 1:13-14 ; 5:18 ; Rom. 8:5-11 -Only thru the power of the Holy Spirit are you able to live an abundant life.

Heb. 4:12 ; Matt. 15:18-20 ; Jere. 17:9 -You cannot fully understand your heart. God's word is the measure and instrument by which the level of your problem is discerned. Your thoughts, speech and actions are used by God to reveal the condition of your heart.

Change:
Rev. 2:4-5 ; Lu. 6:46-49 -Acknowledge that Lordship of Jesus Christ and make a commitment to be a doer of the word. If all you do is hear, and follow your own ideas, you will remain foolish and spiritually deluded.

Rom. 12:1-2 ; Eph. 4:22-24 -Old thoughts and ideas must be put to death, and God's word put in its place. God's word is His will. to do His will is to do His word by which we are blessed.

2 Cor. 10:5 ; Col. 3:1-3 -Discipline your thought life, speak in a manner that is helpful to others, and love others in a biblical manner.
