New Identity (1) |
God's View:
Eph. 1:3-5
; 2 Cor. 5:15-17
; 1 Cor. 1:30
; Gal. 2:20
-Your origin was in
God before the earth was created, you were eternal before you were born;
see yourself as God sees you. You are identified with Christ. Thus, if you
know who you are from, you know who you are.
Hope:
2 Tim. 3:16-17
; Heb. 4:12
; Ps. 19:7-11
; Prov. 30:5-6
-Since God's
word is the only authority for faith and conduct and is the sole, legitimate
standard by which all aspects of living are evaluated, you are to rely on
no other source. God's word provides hope and gives direction for change
in deeds (thoughts, speech and actions) and is adequate to equip you for
every good work and to develop a Christlike attitude of servanthood within
you.
Isa. 10:27 ; 61:1-4; l John 2:20 , 27 ; Eph. 5:18 ; Lu. 4:18-19 ; 2 Cor. 4:7 -Only through the power of the Holy Spirit are you able to live an abundant life, to remove burdens and to destroy yokes. To be anointed is God on flesh to do those things that the flesh cannot do.
Ps. 145:18-19 ; Matt. 7:7-8 ; Isa. 55:8-9 ; l John 5:4-5 , 18-19 ; Prayer is communication with God. Through prayer God puts us in charge and through us establishes His Kingdom and His purposes on earth. We have world overcoming faith residing within us. It is faith in and of God that we bring everything and everyone unceasingly before the Lord in prayer. Key to a successful prayer life is fellowship and relationship with God, so that, in time, our mind and emotions reflect the character, disposition, and personality of Jesus, thus, becoming the salt and light on earth.

The whole duty of man is to fear God and keep His commandments, to please
God in every area of your life. As a doer of the word and as you obey, you
grow in maturity and receive blessings from the Lord. If you do not obey
God's word, He will judge and discipline you.
